Joost's Templates for Controller Mappings

Traktor DJ Joost from the Netherlands created some templates that will help you to document your Traktor controller mappings. All templates are in fact PDF forms where you can easily add the command/action that you mapped to a control.

To date the 35 mapping templates have been downloaded 41677 times.

Tips for using the Mapping Templates

IMPORTANT Before you start using the templates make sure that the latest version of Adobe Reader is installed. The following tips are based on Adobe Reader X.

Adobe Reader X

Open the PDF file with Adobe Reader and perform the following steps to get the most out of the templates:

Make sure that Highlight fields is activated. This can be done by clicking the button in the purple bar above the image. This will highlight all the fields where text can be entered.
Click the Comment button in the toolbar. Adobe Reader opens the Annotations and Markup panel.
Use the buttons in section Annotations to add various elements to your mapping form.
Use the Sticky Note icon to add a yellow shortcut with a text box attached. Add additional information here and then minimize it. A window with the added info will pop up whenever you hover your mouse above the shortcut.
Use the buttons in section Drawing Markups to add various shapes, text boxes and lines to your mapping for further information or use them for titles.

Matt wrote on November 15, 2011 at 2:36 PM Hi, I have a mixtrack Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro 2 - i want to use all 4 decks to play/cue/loop, change loop size and fillters/effects/EQ - obviously i can use the controler for most of this on deck A+B but i want ot remap the EQ cuts and Effects controlers to work with the fillters for A+B. Am also thinking of getting an X1 to control deck B+C fillters/effects/loops/play/cue etc. Can anyone help me with this remapping and is it a good idea to get an X1 for controlling B+C?

It's available from the manufacturer's website here: http://www.novationmusic.com/support/traktor_mapping_for_twitch/ I find it a big let-down that; mapping is NOT very intuitive, mapping (for Non-Native Instruments controllers) is rather difficult due to the small window, it has a total lack of assistance when attempting to map/ no helper application (like those used in the S4, X1 etc.) AND changes are destructive.
