This mapping allows for control of sample decks C & D using a Korg nanoKONTROL2. This is especially helpful when using the sample deck buttons on an NI S4 as Hotcue buttons 5-8.
The mapping has 4 different layers using the Korg's track forward and backward buttons as shift keys. It uses the 8 channels on the nanoKONTROL2 to operate the four channels apiece on sample decks C & D respectively. The layers are controlled by the MOD keys: by not depressing any MOD keys, Layer 1 is accessed; by depressing the MOD 1 key, Layer 2 is accessed.; by depressing the MOD 2 key, Layer 3 is accessed; by depressing the MOD 1 and MOD 2 keys simultaneously, Layer 3 is accessed.

The functions of each button/knob/slider are detailed on the pdf templates enclosed in the zip file. Most of the abbreviations are self-explanatory. Here are some of the trickier abbreviations:

PLAY PRI - Play Primary copies a loop from the track deck above, if the assigned slot is empty. Once the sample is loaded, playback is started muted. If there is a sample in the slot, Play Primary toggles the Mute state.

RETRG PLAY - This button retriggers the slot and replays it as long as it's held. When released, it goes back to the beginning of the sample.

PLAY SEC - Loads a sample from the browser if the sample slot is empty. If a sample is loaded and if the sample is being played, Play Secondary stops playback. If a sample is loaded and if the sample is not being played, Play Secondary unloads the sample.

PLAY MODE - Toggles sample deck between looped and one shot status.

CPY LPREC - Copies the contents of the loop recorder to respective channel of the sample deck.

I may go back later and map the transport buttons on the nanoKONTROL2 for the group functions on the sample decks. Let me know if there are any bugs. Enjoy!
